As some of you may or may not know, my best friend Sarah got married a few weeks ago. In Seattle to the man of her dreams. I was honored to not only attend, but to be her Matron of Honor. So this is just a few pictures of my weekend with Sarah and Jay James......

DID I MENTION.....

Did I mention that last Monday was my birthday?

I got to wear a pin for the ENTIRE Disney weeknd that said it was my birhtday.

I did get treated like a Princess the ENTIRE time!!!

Yay Me!!!

AND!!!!

That beautiful slice of heaven in my hands, that was a French pastry. The garcon brought it to me and had the staff sing Happy Birthday to me in French. Because of the pin. Yup. Disney is fantastic.

As far as the lovely cake to my right...That was compliments of Cinderella and her staff. I have no idea if it was good or not. We could not eat it after all the food we had for lunch.

The "Ears Project"

This would be our first attempt at Ears.
Let these moments be remembered as the "Ears Project"

This would be our first attempt. Sure, they were flashy. They were dashy. They had definite pizazz. But who are we? Disco Mouse...Uhh, no. That would be Disco Duck.

These Rrrr his first Ears.

These Rrrr my first Ears.

We make this look good.

Okay, he makes this look good.

After one whole day in the Ears, I am proud to say they are mine.

Not many 33 year olds (I was 32 at the time) can walk around Disney with Ears on their heads, and not a child in sight.

People notice you in the Ears.

Parents are BIG fans!!

These are two little girls we saw on our way to MGM. Their mom made their little outfits from old Star Wars sheets. They were just too cute. I mean, could you really ignore these two if you saw them?

Day One Continuation

"Man...I really want one of those. Really, how cool would I look in one of those?"
"Can you believe we have to stand here taking pictures?"

"I am so excited!! But how do I get their autograph? How do I ask?"
"What the heck is that strange guy doing next to us? Doesn't he know we are working here?"

Ahh, outside of Star Tours. The memories will last forever.

Yeah, he got me to do it too.

"You like my dark brooding eyes don't you?"

"Smile! I said smile! Don't make me use this blaster!"

AT AT Attack!!

Disney - Day One

Mmmm. Coffee...
We started our trip in MGM with a character breakfast.

How cute are these four little einsteins?

You know these people.

Maybe you don't know the big guy behind us.

He is a Little Einstein.

Former Cabrera Girls And the Name Sake

Mom's Little Angels.
Aren't we just the cutest batch of kids?
Don't Answer that.
Mommom and Alexa Maxine.
I am Super Michael!!!!!
Briana, Alexa, Pam, and Aunt Marge.

Little brother and family (aka 5 Crazy Cabrera's) were all present for the party as well. It is SO great to have them back on our coast. They are back in Maryland now. Three hours away. Yay!!

Ever so glad to have them closer. Maybe now my niece will not cower when I go to pick her up.

Little Sis' Big 30!!

So this past Thursday was my little sister's 30th Birthday. She did not, did not, did not want a party.

She got a Party. A big one. At least by my standards. Bob and I put the whole thing together in one week. One Week!! Yikes!!! But all in all, it was a lot of fun. For those of you interested in the hoagie tray or pasta salads, Bagliani's Market in Hammonton on Rte 54. YUMMY!!!

I think Tracie enjoyed herself. She was not surprised however. There was a girl from her church running across the street seconds before she pulled in to her drive. Uhg. Surprise parties are hard to keep secret.

I am pretty sure that the Princess likes the new linens as well.
